During the week ending September 19, six additional confirmed cases of chikungunya were reported in Mauritius, with no deaths. Since the beginning of the outbreak, a total of 6,928 confirmed cases have been reported, distributed across Mauritius (6,826 cases) and Rodrigues (102 cases).
