A sharp weekly decrease in Chikungunya cases has been observed in Mayotte since week 17, dropping from 47 to 16 cases in week 21, representing a 65.9% decrease. This indicates a slowdown in the epidemic. Since the beginning of the year, 1,311 biologically confirmed cases have been recorded, surpassing the total for 2025 (1,266 cases).
