Two new cases of chikungunya have been detected in Mazamet and Labastide-Rouairoux, in the Tarn department.
These cases are in addition to the first infection reported in early August in Saint-Amans-Soult. As a preventative measure, insect control operations have been scheduled in the affected areas, including Lisle-sur-Tarn. Residents are advised to take precautions such as closing windows and doors, and protecting animals and outdoor furniture.
